Parking
Parking is $8 each day in the 7-level Anteater Parking Structure, located at Peltason Dr. and Anteater Way, a three minute walk from the Engineering quad. There is a parking kiosk with an attendant 7:00am-1:00pm Saturday, and 8:30am-10:30am Sunday.
After hours, there is a permit dispenser at the parking structure entrance which accepts MasterCard, Visa or cash ($1, $5 bills and coins, exact change only).
Purchase your permit and display it on your dashboard. The parking and transportation folks will be happy to provide you with a parking ticket if you don't have a permit properly displayed. And no, they don't slack off enforcement on the weekends.
If you didn't see a parking kiosk when you entered the parking structure, you probably came in the back (ground level) entrance. Go up to the 3rd level to find the kiosk and buy a parking permit; or, take the ground-level exit and go left, turn left at the Engineering Service Rd, left onto Peltason Dr., and left at Anteater Way to re-enter at the kiosk entrance.
Directions to the Engineering quad (Drupal Camp Registration)
General parking is plentiful on the upper levels (3-5) of the parking structure.
Park in any unmarked space, and walk toward the elevator at the southwest corner of the lot (at the end of the leftmost aisle as you first drive in). Go downstairs to level 2 and walk out onto the adjacent building plaza to your left, then out to the sidewalk along the main road (Peltason Dr.). Go right, cross the Engineering Service Rd. and continue along the sidewalk past the Henry Samueli School of Engineering monument sign. Go right at the crosswalk and down the large stairs to the Engineering quad (walking time: 3 minutes).
