Social Scheduling and Personalized Event Management
Event calendars and conference agendas don’t have to be a one way stream of information. Engage users to add value to your event site by:
- Creating personalized schedules
- Adding custom events
- Creating public or private profiles
- Sharing schedules with others
- Communicating with one other
- Uploading slides, handouts and other materials
In addition, providing a mobile interface for users allows them to access schedules at the event from cell phones, eliminating the need for hard copy printouts.
Two sites will demonstrate these ideas in action:
- ScheduAALL – an unofficial personal scheduling site for attendees of the American Association of Law Libraries Annual Meeting
- CALIcon – the official site for the CALI Conference for Law School Computing
Modules covered include: CCK, Date, Views, Content Profile, Workflow, Flag, Browscap, Switchtheme
