Drupal Camp LA 2009 is a success!
Brains are full, and Drupal Camp LA 2009 is now officially over. The event was a total success. Thanks go to our sponsors and supporters. And a very special thank you goes to all our volunteers!
Dozens of raffle winners walked away with the best books in print for Drupal skill development. Over 500 Drupal fans were in attendance. Install Fests were a success. The Drupalchix table did a great job. And with over 60 sessions submitted, people got to see 4 tracks of Drupal training - totaling over 40 hours of content! Wow. Most sessions were recorded, and we will have the videos edited later this month (some are on tape still). Many verbal compliments poured in that the advanced sessions were great, and with something like 70% Drupalcamp-newbies, the beginner sessions were packed!
Expect a much more detailed wrap up report in your Inbox with our attendee survey. Make sure you are posting in the forums, so you don't forget what you did or didn't like. We are already in early planning stages for our camp in 2010, so your comments help us keep this community training the best on the West Coast.
(I think we all need a couple days to decompress.)
Again, thank you to our wonderful sponsors: UC Irvine School of Engineering, PingVision, Microsoft, Acquia, This By Them, and others.
Update: The case study mentioned in the keynote is now available on the front page of Drupal.org. http://drupal.org/node/519100
